Welders are men who have been brainwashed by green slime into serving Colonel Brown. Donning protective headgear, they carry out around a backpack that allows them to use flamethrowers on their targets. The welders patrol the Toy Tower in North Sterlington and fire at any intruders. They consider themselves to be "well 'ard" and "don't like nosey kids".
When Marko was sent by Captain Smirk to put an end to the green sludge, a pair of welders caught him in the laboratory and proceeded to attempt to roast him alive. However, their flame hit a barrel of the slime, causing an explosion that filled the room with the waste. The welders instantly resigned, removing their gear and escaping from the castle. They received no punishment for attempting to kill Marko.
