Story[]

Dr Robotnik is once again in a foul mood. Even with Mobius completely under his control, he still can't track down Sonic, or the Emerald Hill folk, who are still hiding in the Mushroom Hill Zone. Suddenly, he recieves a call on his private video call link: Sonic has got hold of Robotnik's number somehow and is taking the opportunity to rub his own recent victories in the dictator's face and warn him that his days are numbered. As soon as the call ends, Grimer recieves reports of disturbance in Sector Alpha 34, where Robotnik has erected a new statue of himself. A protest has erupted, and one of the protestors has managed to climb atop the statue and start painting it. Suddenly, the SBS Troopers arrive, scattering the protestors and blasting the dog with the paint from the statue. Before the hapless protestor can fall to his death, he is caught in mid-air by Tails. Sonic enters the fray and makes short work of the SBS before anyone can get hurt. As soon as the hedgehog's finished, a protestor warns everyone to take cover: The explosives have been set. Seconds later, the statue's base explodes, and the statue falls, shattering upon hitting the ground. As Sonic surveys the wreckage, he muses with Tails upon how Robotnik is losing his hold over the people of Mobius. Sonic quickly tells everyone in the vicinity to make a run for it, thinking Robotnik will have already sent out another SBS squad. Back in Citadel Robotnik, the dictator is doubly frustrated. The statue's destruction isn't the issue though. The fact that the citizens attacked is a symbol of their lack of fear. Throttling Grimer, he vows to make the people fear the very mention of the name, Doctor Robotnik....
