The Universal Chronotron Archive is a location somewhere in the universe. It presumably contains details of the history of different universes, including the destroyed Special Zone.
The Chaotix Crew travelled here to research bringing their doomed home back from oblivion. Unfortunately, even with the Omni-Viewer, travel there is not cheap, so Vector the Crocodile mortgaged the Floating Island, earning the ire of both Knuckles the Echidna and Hundred & Spindle.
