The Tropical Jungle Zone is a peaceful Zone on Mobius, largely ignored by Doctor Robotnik. The people living there are primitive types, calmly cooking in large cauldrons while others look from their straw huts. The main village is surrounded by, as the name suggests, palm trees and exotic plantlife. Outside of the jungle is a large river bordered by unsteady cliffs.
The main village was partially destroyed when attacked by an invisible robot of Grimer's creation. Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails came to their rescue and defeated the threat by driving it out to the river and submerging it there.
Robotnik's soldiers had been there on at least one occasion previously, fitting a spy camera in the jungle.
