The Tar Titan is a monster last seen in the Metropolis Zone. It has a vaguely humanoid form but appears to be largely made of slime. The Titan's power is to attack its surroundings by pollutants produced within itself.
History[]
Tails was in the Metropolis Zone, picking up a parcel to deliver to Sonic the Hedgehog, when he spotted the Tar Titan attacking the citizens (including Ray the Flying Squirrel), choking them and making them gag.
The Tar Titan revelled in Tails' appearance and began to threaten the hero, but a busy Tails was far from interested. Cutting the monster off mid-sentence, Tails then nonchantly broke a fire hydrant, cannoning water into his foe. The Tar Titan went from bemoaning the hero of today to sulking in an instant, the water neutralising its foul smell.
Rather than apprehend the monster, Tails left the depowered Tar Titan to its own devices as the hero continued on his mission.
