Stars are one of the species in the Ristar series. They are sentient celestial bodies who live peacefully on a floating artificial world of their own design. They have a mighty military race and try to govern peace across the local solar systems. Planets within their government include Flora, a vast tropical jungle, and Sonata, a planet full of intelligent bird-life who all worship and govern their own society by music. The stars can become invulnerable fireballs by using Grab Poles - ancient technology that they can use to become their full potential - shooting stars.
In Sonic the Comic Online, they share their world with the Comets, although their history has not always been peaceful.
