Stara is a resident of Trituna and was one of the warriors sent to the Beanson Coast Zone to fight Sonic the Hedgehog. The female starfish did relatively little in the battle, although she managed to get close enough to the hedgehog to hold him while Jaws Michael got ready to attack. Unfortunately, she was thrown into the shark and her part in the fight was over.
In the water, Stara acts as a leader for the other Tritunas and was the one who ordered everyone back into the sea when it became apparent that Agent X's serum was wearing off. She then relayed the problem to Sharka Khan and was the one who informed Sonic that the Zone would make a go of things without their corrupt Zone Leader.
