Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity is a 2008 video game for the Nintendo Wii and PlayStation 2. It is a sequel to Sonic Riders and was followed by Sonic Free Riders. Zero Gravity sees the return of Extreme Gear, although the air gimmick is largely replaced by gravity, a new gameplay addition.

Plot[]

Sonic the Hedgehog discovers a legend about the "Ark of the Cosmos", an artifact that can control gravity and sets out to find it. Meanwhile, the Babylon Rogues are after the exact same thing. During their quest to find them all, they are forced to contend with Eggman's malfunctioning robots and the riders eventually learn that Babylon is actually a spaceship...

Characters[]

Several Sonic the Comic reprise their roles in this game, although they are in their Sega guises:

STC adaptation[]

Other than the introduction of the Babylon Rogues, there has been no complete adaptation of this game in Sonic the Comic Online. In Issue 247's Review Zone, Zero Gravity was given the dubious honour of being the lowest-scoring game in both Sonic the Comic and the online continuation, earning just 25%. Iain Stewart lambasted the "dreadful graphics", its "uncontrollable" nature and stated that it was "unfinished". Faint praise in saying that it "kinda" had potential.

Timeline[]

The previous title in the series was Sonic Rivals 2. The next is Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
