The self-warming bath is an invention created by Roger Bodge as an entry to Enviro-Fete '98. The creation was a simple bathtub fitted with a radiator that kept the water inside it hot no matter how long it had been since the water was poured. However, since this involved people reusing the same water over and over again, collecting grime from the user, the water in the self-warming bath soon turned rancid, making the Enviro-Fete judges feel quite ill. Out of the three inventions shown at the exhibition, Bodge's bath supposedly came second to Tekno the Canary's solar-powered Hover Scooter.
The bath seems to be Bodge's own. After years of wear and tear (or possibly because of the addition of a heavy radiator), the bath was cracking and already required plasters to stop water leaking out of the side. Bodge seemed to have tested the invention out several times already, as the bath water was already grimy. There is no explanation as to how the radiator works without being plugged in.
After Tyson Dense's defeat against Tekno and Amy Rose, the bat plummeted into the bath, making him filthy.
