The Seaside Hill Zone is a remote coastal Zone on Mobius.
Location[]
Much of the Seaside Hill Zone consists of sand, as the area appears to have a long stretch of beach. The only building seen is a large one, possibly belonging to Seaside Hill's Zone Leader. Off the coast lies several islands, each adorned with the planet's classic "checkerboard" pattern. One such island is in the shape of a giant whale, named "Whale Island" in other media.
The Seaside City Zone is in the outskirts of Seaside Hill. Both Zones are in relatively close proximity to the Metropolis Zone.
History[]
The Seaside Hill Zone was one area that had signed up for protection from The Family should their Zone ever come into trouble. When Doctor Robotnik's Badniks moved to invade the region, Don Long-Legs ensured that he stuck to his end of the bargain and sent his comrades to protect the Zone. As well as this, he ordered Harvestman to pick up a bomb from Buddy's Bistro and use it to destroy the Badniks. Instead, Harvestman picked up a pizza after Big the Cat had mistakenly taken the bomb to the Seaside City Zone.
Harvestman completed his delivery, although the pizza did little to affect the large battle between the Badniks, the Family and the Zone's residents. Fortunately, Big had lost his own parcel, which happened to fly into the scene and destroyed the Badniks. Nobody assembled saw the bomb arrive and believed that the pizza, thrown by the Zone Leader, had explosive properties. Nevertheless, the Seaside Hill Zone was safe again.
Appearances[]
Seaside Hill made its first appearance in Sonic Heroes and was brought back as part of Sonic Generations and various other Sonic sports games.
