The Savannah Emperor is a deity of Mobius. It seems likely that only the people of the Hill Top Zone believe in Savannah, as he has not been mentioned by any other people. Dunzi is one particularly devout follower, yet he still mentions his name in a blasphemous way when confronted with bad news about Rouge the Bat and his Household Keepers.
Masad Akaan of the Keepers discovered a textbook that mentioned the Savannah Emperor. Legend stated that, after a mighty battle, Savannah was so moved by his soldiers' valour that he created a magickal superweapon that could preserve the bodies of his retainers and forever shine at their moment of glory. He also created the Frozen Zone to house them. Akaan acted on this information and visited the North Cave to investigate, unaware that Sonic the Hedgehog was hiding there. The hedgehog volunteered to help find the weapon but was interrupted by Lord Utsire of the Drakon House of Magic. The alien was able to find the mystical cube, but the "toy" was destroyed by Sonic.
