Ristar is a star from the Keschera Colony and the "star" of his own Sega Superstars series in Sonic the Comic Online.
History[]
Fresh from saving father Itzamna and defeating the evil Greedy, Ristar was a hero on his home planet. Not everyone was about this and good "friend" Siestar wished to use Ristar's reputation to propel himself into stardom, pulling Ristar down a peg or two while he's at it. Whilst baking a fruit pie one day, Ristar was momentarily distracted by the radio and started singing into his spatula, unaware that Siestar was filming the embarrassing performance. A furious Ristar endlessly chased Siestar across the city, pleading with him to give up the tape (then maybe he'll go to Siestar's rehearsals). The pair eventually reached the government building and Ristar was distraught when the tape was broadcast to the whole congregation. Fortunately, the crowd loved Ristar's singing and urged him to take up a singing career.
His only appearance prior to this was in his own game, Ristar, although he also had a cameo in Sonic & Sega All-Star Racing and its sequel.
