The product manager was a position held at Sonic the Comic. They may have been responsible for seeing how well the comic fitted with Egmont Fleetway's business model and for monitoring any competition.
Jess Manu was the first person to be credited as product manager, beginning this job in Issue 185 and keeping it until Issue 222. Nicki Bainbridge was credited instead in Issue 223. The role was not continued in Sonic the Comic Online.
