Photo Zone was a feature in Sonic the Comic that published pictures of Boomers or their photographical work. The Photo Zone was an irregular feature, almost always replacing the Graphic Zone when it appeared. Like the Graphic Zone, there was often a theme, ranging from Sonic merchandise, to LEGO creations. Early prizes for getting photos into STC included a Sonic 2 Badge and a Sonic & Knuckles disposable camera.
Appearances[]
- Issue 34 - a general merchandise theme. The prize was of a badge.
- Issue 35 - all about Sonic the Hedgehog.
- Issue 37 - Lego creations.
- Issue 46 - more merchandise.
- Issue 61 - Boomers dressed in STC costumes. The prize was now a Sega Sonic & Knuckles disposable camera.
- Issue 73 - custom Sonic clothing.

Trivia[]
- Issue 46's edition was the first to not replace the Graphic Zone.
- In Issue 61, readers were awarded a disposable camera, although each picture stated they had won a pack of Crayola Overwriters.
- "Photos" is misspelled "photo's" in Issues 61 and 73.
- The intro to Issue 159's Photo Zone is almost identical to Issue 35.
- Issue 165's feature was the only one to have a title, mirroring the Graphic Zone. It is also the only one not to exclusively feature pictures of readers (with one of them solely a picture of Sonic the Balloon) and had three pages.
