Story[]
Amy Rose has been called to Tekno's Workshop with an important message - Shortfuse the Cybernik is coming home for Christmas. By setting up an Inter-Planetary Warp-Gate, Tekno the Canary has made it possible for Shortfuse to come back to Mobius and has brought Amber of the Kaamdaarn with him so that she can sample Mobian culture. She can only stay briefly, however, as the two dimensions are only in alignment for a few days. Amber is quickly thrown in the deep end, when the Badnik alarm sounds. As they all climb out into the Emerald Hill Zone, Amber is baffled that someone can attack at this time, but Shortfuse doubts they care and Amy keeps Amber out of harm's way.
The battle starts well, but Shortfuse's rustiness in battle leads to him being shot out of the sky. As the robot numbers dwindle, the heroes are forced to stop fighting when a Badnik threatens to crush a villager. Amber flies up to meet them, telling them all to "mellow out". The short message seems to work, with the Badniks wanting "peace, not punch-ups" and they let the villager go. Amber reveals she can create feelings of tranquility, but can't do the same for Doctor Robotnik as there is no good in his heart. Even so, the calming influence will fade away when she returns to her own world.
Back on Flickies' Island, the Badniks' rendition of "Silent Night" is giving Robotnik a big headache.
Trivia[]
- Shortfuse and the Kaamdaarn was last seen in Spaced Out.
- Amy reveals that she thought Shortfuse was "a million light years away", although it is in a different dimension.
- She also states the aliens come from "Planet Kaamdaarn", something not previously revealed.
