The Nega-Wisp Armour is a mecha controlled manually by Doctor Robotnik.
History[]
Upon the arrival of the New Robotnik Empire, the heroes of Mobius believed that Robotnik was insane and confined to a chair in the Egg Bastion, from where he controlled his Badnik army through thought alone. It was this stationary position that prompted Free Mobius to assault his base and capture him, ending the war. However, it transpired that Robotnik had already moved days prior.
It was at The Battle of Emerald Hill that Robotnik arrived to turn the tide against the Freedom Fighters. Robotnik appeared personally within the armour, praising the use of portable computers to continue controlling his forces through brainwaves, yet no longer bound to his chair since the deletion of the Drakon Empire's monitoring systems. Although a menacing enough machine, the armour was seen to be encasing a repaired Chaos Tap that could draw energy from the planet itself. Worse still, the hulking, clawed contraption was flanked by a number of Buzzer Badniks and appeared in front of Tails and Holly Thumpfoot before Sonic the Hedgehog arrived to take it on.
Trivia[]
- The name of the mecha is taken from its appearance in Sonic Colours, where it appears as the final boss. However, as Wisps are yet to appear in Sonic the Comic Online, the name here is unofficial.
