Ms Alpha is a lizard and was the former leader of a group of villains aiming to steal treasure from the Floating Island. Along with Mr Beta, Mr Delta and Mr Gamma, the crook joined the Doctor Robotnik Appreciation Tribe to get to the island, before carrying out her plan.
Throughout the mission, Ms Alpha was the one to give orders to her three specialist teammates. The early part of her plan involved getting a headstart on Knuckles the Echidna, but a miscalculation by her led to them confronting him early. She ordered Mr Beta to take care of him, before asking Mr Delta to blind Knuckles. On her orders, Knuckles was then thrown from the island, although she assured him that his would sight would return in time for him to glide down to Mobius. She was soon confronted by the Guardian Robots and narrowly avoided gunfire due to the chameleon circuits protecting her from being seen by the robots.
Her plan took the team into a tunnel where they again encountered Knuckles, who had chanced into falling onto a hatch into the Floating Island's tunnel system rather than all the way down to Mobius. After her order for Mr Beta to tackle Knuckles failed, she turned her attentions to Mr Gamma's shock collar, before activating a remote control that shocked Knuckles into submission. She then confessed her plans to Knuckles, making it clear that she wasn't here to steal the Chaos Emeralds. She threatened to zap Knuckles again if he followed them, but Knuckles knocked the buzzer out of her hand. While Mr Beta and Knuckles fought, Ms Alpha scrabbled around in the dark and found the remote. Unfortunately for her, it was destroyed by a Guardian Robot piloted by Porker Lewis and was forced to surrender. After this, she was taken to join the other D.R.A.T. prisoners.
