Motorspike is a Badnik from the Amazing Arena area of Knuckles' Chaotix. It resembles a ladybird with large spikes protruding from its "wings". However, it often makes no concerted effort to attack, hovering around its location.
Motorspike has never appeared in a Sonic the Comic, but was one of several Badniks introduced in the Badnik Alert! section of the Knuckles Knock-Out Special. Along with Spiketower, Motorspike was given the maximum "Danger Rating" of 5, stating that "this heavy-metal piece of gadgetry is a rebel without a cause".
