The Maple Flower Zone is a Zone on Mobius. The leafy Zone is currently abandoned after it was attacked by Doctor Robotnik's forces.
History[]
During the rise of the New Robotnik Empire, the Maple Flower Zone was one of many Zones captured by Doctor Robotnik. The villain's forces greatly outnumbered any heroes able to assist the Zone and the whole location quickly fell into chaos. Robotnik's massive gunship reduced most buildings to rubble and the Zone was soon completely ablaze.
Local resident Mr Diggum and his sons set to work on creating an underground network of tunnels. This allowed all surviving residents to escape unseen, escorted by Tails and The Ultimax. Unfortunately, their quiet progress was scuppered when The Ultimax-Eye, a television team, exposed their location and allowed Robotnik to destroy the tunnels. Currently, the residents are all trapped, although Theodore Abram Spartacus is working to tunnel them out to safety.
