Knuckles the Echidna[]

Traitor of the Lost Pyramid is a 2-part story, both parts running this issue. As Knuckles gazes into the sky, he is joined by the Chaotix Crew. Vector the Crocodile states they're after Nack the Weasel and Espio the Chameleon explains he escaped from a prison hospital and bought a map for the Lost Pyramid of Sandopolis. Knuckles agrees to help his friends and the Omni-Viewer takes them to the Sandopolis Zone, where the pyramid has risen once again. After battling the Sandopolis Ghosts, the team find their target.

Since Knuckles is confused about the lack of treasure and sand in the room, Nack explains that he used a shrinking ray. He then activates a Stone Guardian and leaves, but discovers he has left behind his device. Knuckles gets the hang of it and shrinks the guardian. The heroes then chase Nack outside, but he is already airborne and Charmy Bee isn't strong enough to stop him. Knuckles reverses the shrinking ray, enlarging all of Nack's treasure so his ship explodes. Chaotix then take him back to prison.

Jake's Story is a complete story, featuring the return of an EggRobo in need of an organic battery. The Emerald Hill folk witness it stealing local boy Jake and call in Knuckles to rescue him. The echidna tracks it down to the Lava Reef Zone but is horrified when a flame jet blows the Badnik up. Ready to tell Jake's mother what happened, he's relieved to learn that Jake was never in the Badnik.

Reflections is another complete story and it seems as if Knuckles has gone insane, knocking down a house and proclaiming the Emerald Hill folk to be his slaves. The real Knuckles turns up and fights the fake but loses. When the double leaves, Knuckles reveals that he found a mirror that was actually a prison for evil spirits and one had taken on his appearance. Knuckles eventually tricks his fake into jumping back into the mirror and smashes it.
