Keanu is a monster from the Timber Village Zone. After being accepted as another resident, "The Lump" opted to change his name to Keanu.
History[]
"The Lump" was an experiment carried out by Doctor Robotnik. The dictator "dumped" him when he realised he wasn't nasty enough, exiling him to the Timber Village. The Lump attempted to carry out a normal life, popping into the town to do some shopping. Unfortunately, his "unique" looks and garbled language scared the citizens, who called in the Freedom Fighters to tackle the foe. Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary arrived and attempted to thwart the Lump, but discovered that direct punches had no effect on his blubbery exterior.
After realising that he was trying to communicate, Tekno used her Translator-Scan on him, allowing him to talk in English and explain his situation. Instead of being scary, the Lump preferred to explore handicrafts and pressing flowers. Shortly after, he was chased away by a crazed mob. The chase took him to a creaky wooden bridge, that collapsed from the weight of several people. The Lump was able to land safely on the bottom and caught two others, propelling back to the top of the ravine. Thanks to his selflessness, the Timber Village Zone Leader allowed to enter the community (joking that he could act as a bouncy castle). A fellow townsperson suggested that The Lump be called "Craig" or "Steve", with the monster opting with "Keanu".
