The Origin of Chaos! is a complete story written by Nigel Kitching, drawn by Richard Elson and lettered by Ellie de Ville. In the ancient past, the Great War has just begun. Pochacamac reveals to Sonic how the Drakon Empire stole Chaos Emeralds from the echidnas and infused them with Chaos Energy, before the echidnas stole them back. The leader tries to form a truce with the defeated Drakon Prosecutor but is interrupted by the arrival of the other Drakons. As a Prosecutor accidentally shoots the Emeralds, a chain reaction causes the prisoner to turn into Chaos.
