Sonic the Hedgehog[]
Black Christmas is a complete story by Nigel Kitching, Richard Elson, Richard Guildford and Tom Frame. The Emerald Hill Zone is being plagued by Vile Peter, one of Father Christmas' elves who went bad. As he kidnaps the Emerald Hill folk children, Sonic confronts him. However, it is left to Santa to save the day, even if Sonic thinks he is Doctor Robotnik in disguise.
Tails[]
Going Crackers is another complete Christmas story, written by Lew Stringer, with art from Andy Pritchett and lettering by Elitta Fell. Tower Hill Zone's Basil Poultry is feeling the strains of Christmas and is dismayed when everything goes wrong. He eventually snaps and dons battle armour, helping him to cancel Christmas. Fortunately, Tails is in the area and defeats the crazy Zone Leader. The citizens soon forgive him and Christmas is saved.
Decap Attack[]
Christmas Carol II is a parody of Charles Dickens' 'A Christmas Carol'. Written and drawn by Kitching with lettering by Ellie de Ville, the story sees Professor Frank N. Stein visited by three "ghosts" after he cancels Christmas at Castle Frank N. Stein. The apparitions, summoned by hypnotist Tall Tim, convince Frank to have Christmas Day off in front of the telly.
Amy & Tekno[]
Peace of the Action is a complete story written by Stringer, drawn by Roberto Corona, coloured by Nigel Dobbyn and lettered by Frame. Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary have a nice surprise when Shortfuse the Cybernik comes home for Christmas, bringing with him Amber of the Kaamdaarn. She's interested to see a Badnik attack but quells things with her calming powers, sending the Badniks home to annoy Robotnik with carol singing.
Features[]
Megadroid wishes Boomers a happy Christmas and New Year in the Control Zone and looks forward to a redesign next issue. There is also a Hume Error with regards to Mick McMahon's work being credited as Nigel Dobbyn's in Issue 116.
Speedlines contains letters about Megadroid's home (and eating habits), Sonic turning on the Christmas lights here on Planet Earth and there's a poem about Tails. Printed letters won readers an Enamel Badge. The Graphic Zone becomes the "Jingle Zone" this issue, with Sonic and friends enjoying the festivities. Published pictures received a Sonic the Hedgehog watch.
