Sonic the Hedgehog[]
Crisis in the Chemical Plant Zone is a 2-part story written by Nigel Kitching, with art by Richard Elson and lettering from Tom Frame. After responding to a call for help, Sonic and Tails have discovered that the Chemical Plant Zone has been swamped by Mega Mack monsters. Worse still, they later join together to reveal old foe Megatox. Fortunately, Sonic bypasses "Mr Tox's" new abilities and imprisons him.
Tails[]
Weather Beaten is a complete story from Lew Stringer, Carl Flint, John M Burns and Ellie de Ville. Tails learns that he has sprained his tails, just in time for weather genius Windy Wallis to launch a new attack on Mobius. Tails' Bi-plane has been grounded, so his only way of reaching the skies is a helicopter built by Roger Bodge. The invention predictably falls apart; however, it careers right into Wallis' airship, ending her plans.
Decap Attack[]
Chuck and the Cheese Factory is a 2-part parody of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Kitching, with lettering provided by Elitta Fell. Chuck has won a trip to the Slurp-A-Cheese Factory but things go awry when the Slurp-A-Kins begin a revolution. Chuck and Head fight off the rebellion but George Curdle eventually concedes and announces his intention to produce Slab-A-Cheese.
Amy & Tekno[]
Earthbound is the sequel to Spaced Out and is written by Stringer, drawn by Roberto Corona, coloured by Burns and lettered by Frame. Amy Rose and Tekno the Canary have been imprisoned by Operation Starwatch, led by the evil Colonel Granite. They manage to escape with Tekno's explosive earrings and rescue Professor Cratermass at the same time. Back at his house, Tekno helps him complete his Gateway to Infra-Space and the Mobians return home. Cratermass ensures Granite can't follow by deleting the program.
Features[]
This issue's Control Zone sees Megadroid introduce Boomers to the events inside, including the competition from Sun-Pat. An extra advert is dedicated to the main Sonic story, decorated with a picture drawn by a reader.
Letters in Speedlines sees readers wonder why Sonic answers the letters instead of Megadroid (despite the droid clearly answering every letter since Issue 1), whilst another wishes for some competitions, which leads to an advert for next issue's giveaway. Finally, one last Boomer asks for the return of Super Sonic, who is due to return in Issue 116 (although "Return of the Nightmare" is erroneously titled "The Hunter and the Hunted").
