Sonic the Hedgehog[]
Unnatural Disasters is a complete story by Lew Stringer, Richard Elson and Elitta Fell. The whole of Mobius is suffering from torrid weather conditions and Sonic is trying to help. After saving more people from a flood, Sonic pays a visit to weather-gerbil Windy Wallis, who is responsible for the freak weather patterns. Although she knocks him down with a thundercloud, Sonic retaliates with a splash of water, breaking the machine and defeating Wallis.
Super Sonic[]
What Ever Happened to Super Sonic? is a complete story written and drawn by Nigel Kitching, with letters by Fell. An amnesiac Super Sonic is having nightmares about his past, worrying host Madge. Her husband, Arthur, is more worried about his dwindling money and is happy when Super decides to leave. On the streets of the Metropolis Zone, Super Sonic narrowly misses the Freedom Fighters who have been looking for him.
Decap Attack[]
Life With the Snagsbys is a complete story by Kitching, Richard Rayner, Mick McMahon and Ellie de Ville. After the destruction of Castle Frank N. Stein, Chuck D. Head and Head have been staying at the Bide A Wee B&B and this is their final morning. The Snagsbys don't want them to leave and repeatedly try and kill Chuck until Head guesses their secret. As the pair leave, Chuck is angry at Head for insulting the elderly couple.
Sonic's World[]
Invasion of the Veg Heads is a 2-part story written by Stringer, drawn by Andy Pritchett and lettered by Gordon Robson. Sonic, Harry Mole and Farmer Nige have been captured by the Veg-Heads but the hedgehog manages to free them all. Visiting the Chemical Plant Zone, he learns that a toxic leak has brought the vegetables to life but have recaptured Nige. After the people of the Plowright Zone capture King Edward, Nige allows them a plot of land on his farm.
Features[]
Megadroid appeases anxious Boomers in the Control Zone by welcoming Super Sonic back to the comic. After introducing the strips and features in the comic, he then helps readers get their letters and drawings featured with a short checklist of advice. Many of the leaders are new in this week's Sega Charts; FIFA '97 is the only non-mover, remaining top of the Mega Drive chart. Dark Saviour is a new entry for the Saturn top spot, Ecco the Dolphin re-enters the Mega-CD chart in first place and Dynamite Headdy moves to the top of the Game Gear list.
The theme of this issue's Graphic Zone is "Jurassic Zone", with the prehistoric pictures of the STC cast earning the artists a pack of Crayola Mini Stampers 2. Megadroid returns in Speedlines, replying to letters about the hidden Humes, a Sonic music compilation and a fan of a previous submission in Issue 97. Everything printed here won a Sonic 2 Crucial Cup.
