Happy Birthday, also known as Happy Birthday to You, is a song sang to celebrate someone's birthday. It is considered to be the most well-known song in the English language and is almost always sung over the presenting of a birthday cake. "Happy Birthday" is under copyright, so unauthorised public performances of the ditty are technically illegal.

In Sonic the Comic Online, Doctor Ivo Robotnik was left furious when nobody remembered his birthday in 2011. In revenge, he conquered the Earthland Zone and forced its residents to sing "Happy Birthday" until he felt better. As of a news report, the forced celebrations had lasted for at least twenty hours.
