The Green Grove Zone is a Zone on Flickies' Island. Like many of the Hill Zones on South Island, the area contains many rolling fields and peaks that can be appreciated for their beauty. However, Green Grove is a region of extremes, as the Zone quickly descends into jungle as the land reaches the sea, before opening out into a beachy cove. The lush Zone is surrounded by icy mountains, fiery volcanoes and remnants of a forgotten civilisation. In the middle of the Green Grove Zone is the Rusty Ruin Zone, a base that was taken over by Doctor Robotnik. Much of the Zone was destroyed when The Syndicate launched the Death Carrier from underneath Flickies' Island, ripping the fields into pieces.
The Zone is not actually named in Sonic the Comic, but shares many similarities with the first level of Sonic 3D, although there is a lack of chequered floor and waterfalls.
