Dave Windett is an artist who briefly worked for Sonic the Comic. His work was limited to drawing the first two Tails strips. He returned in 2013 to provide a panel for the New to Sonic the Comic? featuring, reprising his role as artist of the Nameless Zone.
Away from STC, Windett is a freelance illustrator who was worked for a wide range of companies on a vast series of strips, ranging from Inspector Gadget to Ace Ventura, along with several original creations. He also contributed a "how to draw" feature for Jetix, instructing readers on how to create Shadow the Hedgehog in Sonic X style.
