Beats the Badniks is a compilation book of several lead Sonic the Comic strips. The selection is technically the first in the series of Ravette Books, compiling Enter: Sonic, Robofox, Mayhem in the Marble Zone and Day of the Badniks (the first four stories). All entries revolve around destroying Badniks as a secondary mission The cover of the book was the same as Issue 3's albeit with different text, as drawn by Ferran Rodriguez.
Both "Beats the Badniks" and "Spin Attack" were offered as part of an Issue 23 competition, with 25 copies of either going to the "first" people to write in.
