Andy Diggle is the former editor of Sonic the Comic. Officially replacing Steve MacManus in Issue 170, Diggle oversaw the end of the Time Zone story arc before ushering in an action-packed era, starting with Lew Stringer's Game Over story arc. One of his first key decisions was to re-hire Nigel Kitching and allowed him to create a 10-part Sonic Adventure tie-in involving several characters, time travel and the death of a major character.
Despite his relative popularity, Diggle's tenure only lasted 15 issues. When the comic went into full reprints, the position of editor was no longer necessary and Diggle was removed, with MacManus remaining on as managing editor.
Outside of Sonic the Comic, Diggle was also the editor of 2000AD and has written scripts for the likes of Daredevil, Hawkeye and Green Arrow.
